Sequence is a strategic board and card game where players use playing cards to place colored chips on corresponding spaces on the game board. The objective is to form sequences of five chips in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Game Setup

For 2-3 Players (Individual)

Each player receives 7 cards and uses one set of colored chips.

For 4-6 Players (Individual)

Each player receives 6 cards and uses one set of colored chips.

For 4-12 Players (Team Play)

Players form teams of 2-4 members. Team members share the same colored chips and work together.

How to Play - Step by Step

1. Choose and Play a Card

On your turn, select a card from your hand and announce it to other players.

2. Place Your Chip

Find the corresponding space on the board and place one of your colored chips on it.

3. Discard and Draw

Discard the played card and draw a new card from the deck to maintain your hand size.

4. Form Sequences

Try to create sequences of 5 chips in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Special Cards & Rules

Jacks (Wild Cards)

  • One-Eyed Jacks: Remove an opponent's chip from the board
  • Two-Eyed Jacks: Place your chip on any open space
  • • Cannot remove chips from completed sequences

Corner Spaces

  • • Four corner spaces are "free" for all players
  • • Can be used as part of any sequence
  • • No cards needed to claim corner spaces
Winning the Game

Individual Play

First player to form 2 complete sequences wins the game.

Team Play

First team to form 1 sequence (for 3 teams) or 2 sequences (for 2 teams) wins the game.

Note: A sequence must be 5 chips in a row of the same color. Dead cards (cards that cannot be played) can be discarded for new cards.
